The Pittsburgh Steelers are starting to wind down their pre draft visits with players, but another top-rated cornerback will reportedly be in town this week.
According to Gil Brandt of NFL.com on Twitter, Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller has four visits lined up this week and one of those will be with the Steelers.
NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock currently has Fuller as his second-rated cornerback in this year’s draft class behind only Darqueze Dennard of Michigan State.
If the Steelers stay put at the 15th overall selection and do not use the pick on Fuller, it would be a bit surprising if he made it back to them in the second round.
Fuller, who visited with the Buffalo Bills on Monday, reportedly ran a 4.49 40-yard dash at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine.
#VaTech CB Kyle Fuller has had 15 visits or workouts. Has 4 more this week: #Jets, #Broncos, #Rams, #Steelers.
