Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. has landed on his feet as he’s now been hired by the Miami Dolphins.
Bicknell, who was let go by the Steelers after just one season in Pittsburgh, will be the assistant to Dolphins new offensive line coach John Benton, who was promoted after Miami fired Jim Turner in the wake of the report into the franchise’s locker room culture by Ted Wells.
Benton was the Houston Texans offensive line coach for eight seasons and is well versed in the outside zone blocking scheme, something Bicknell struggled getting implemented in his one year in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers ultimately hired former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak to replace Bicknell as the new offensive line coach in Pittsburgh.
