The defensive backs won’t run at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine for a few more days, but the Pittsburgh Steelers will certainly be meeting with a few of them in the meantime.
One of the top two cornerbacks in the draft class, Oklahoma State’s Justin Gilbert, is scheduled to meet with the Steelers Sunday night, according to Jim Wexell of Steel City Insider on Twitter.
Gilbert, who measured in at Indianapolis at 6 feet, 202 pounds, has 33 1/8 arms with 8 5/8 hands. He led the Big 12 with six interceptions in 2013 and also returned six kickoffs for touchdowns during his college career.
Gilbert is a first-round prospect and credited with 182 total tackles in 51 games played.
