The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Saturday as rookie defensive end Brian Arnfelt was promoted to the 53 man roster from the practice squad.
Arnfelt’s addition could be a sign that nose tackle Steve McLendon might not be ready to play Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. McLendon failed to practice all week after re-aggravating an ankle injury last Sunday and as a result was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report.
The Steelers will again be without the services Sunday night of defensive end Brett Keisel, who will miss yet another game due to a foot injury.
To make room for Arnfelt on the 53 man roster, linebacker Kion Wilson was waived.
