The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Saturday as tight end Matt Spaeth was activated to the 53 man roster from the injured reserve designated to return list. To make room for Spaeth, tight end Richard Gordon was waived.
Spaeth had been on the injured reserve list with the designated to return listing all season because of a Lisfranc injury suffered during training camp that ultimately required surgery.
With Spaeth back, the Steelers will likely use him to help tackle Mike Adams quite a bit on Sunday. With Kelvin Beachum sidelined with a knee sprain, Adams will be making his first start at left tackle since being benched earlier in the season.
