Ready for some more potentially bad news? According to Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, newly acquired Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Levi Brown exited pregame warmups early with a doctor and trainer after possibly injuring his right arm in pass protection drills.
Brown, who the Steelers acquired via a trade with the Arizona Cardinals during the bye week, is scheduled to serve Sunday as the backup tackle to starter Kelvin Beachum against the New York Jets.
The Steelers already deactivated Mike Adams prior to the game, so Guy Whimper would likely become the backup tackle should Jones not be able to play.
UPDATE: According to Ed Bouchette, Brown has a triceps injury. Brown missed the entire 2012 season with a triceps injury.
