The Tennessee Titans made a roster move on Saturday in order to have a fullback on their roster for the Sunday season opener at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fullback Quinn Johnson was placed on injured reserve and fullback Collin Mooney was promoted from the practice squad to take his place on the roster.
Johnson worked on Wednesday, but his quadriceps injury prevented him from practicing Thursday and Friday.
The Titans did bring free agent fullbacks Michael Robinson and John Conner in for tryouts on Friday, but ultimately decided to promote Mooney instead.
