According to Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was fined in excess of $16,000 by the league on Wednesday for the two penalties he committed Sunday night in the 40-23 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Brown, who will reportedly appeal both fines, was first flagged during the game for a facemask call on Sherrick McManis in the third quarter as he was going out of bounds at the end of a short punt return.
The second flag and fine came as a result of a late hit by Brown on Bears safety Chris Conte following an interception late in the game.
Despite those two incidents, Brown did manage to set career-highs during the loss with nine receptions, 196 yards and two touchdowns.
