Season 3, Episode 111 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I recap the Pittsburgh Steelers final week of offseason practices after the 2013 mini camp came to a conclusion on Thursday. We discuss what Mike Tomlin had to say during his press conference and look at the injury situation heading into training camp.
Linebackers coach Keith Butler talked about the young linebackers on Wednesday, so David and I go over what he had to say as it relates to the depth at the position. We also discuss the status of Stevenson Sylvester moving forward into training camp.
We take a break from the Steelers momentarily to talk about the New England Patriots signing of quarterback Tim Tebow this past week as well as the unfortunate injury suffered by New Orleans Saints linebacker Victor Butler, who the Steelers had their eyes on during the early part of free agency.
Former Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace apparently turned down more money from the Minnesota Vikings to sign with the Miami Dolphins instead, so that gets our thoughts.
David and I wrap up the show by going over the third down snaps that each of the Steelers running backs received last season and also discuss an amazing career win/loss stat that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has when it comes to sacks and rushing yards.
