Season 3, Episode 63 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start by talking a little about the Pittsburgh Steelers injured player list heading into the offseason as well as the season finale win over the Cleveland Browns. Mike Tomlin had a few nuggets in his Monday press conference that we try to decipher and we also ponder who may or may not be a candidate for the open offensive line coach position. Russ Grimm? We don\’t really think so, but we do throw out a few names to watch. Will special teams coach Amos Jones be gone soon or will another assistant just be hired to help him? We discuss all of that.
Thanks to some of the news surrounding cornerback Keenan Lewis on Tuesday, David and I discuss his pending free agency as well as the depth the Steelers have at the cornerback position moving forward. We both agree that the Steelers are unlikely to address the position early in the draft and might not even draft one at all. We also tell you a name or two that we would like to see signed to a futures contract.
A few other talking points are discussed and that includes Ramon Foster and the possibility of the Steelers getting a new deal done with him prior to the start of free agency.
As always, thanks for listening and don\’t forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends!
