Steelers Offensive & Defensive Snap Counts: Week 16 Bengals

Below are the initial week 16 offensive and defensive snap counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers 13-10 loss Sunday to the Cincinnati Bengals.

On offense the running backs were all rotated into the game quite a bit outside of Chris Rainey. Jonathan Dwyer led the way with 23 snaps and was followed closely by Isaac Redman who had just 2 less. Rashard Mendenhall was back in action and saw 16 snaps and he carried the ball on all but 5 of those. Poor Heath Miller almost made through the entire game but unfortunately suffered a serious knee injury late.

On defense you really have to hand it to cornerback Keenan Lewis as he almost played every snap on one leg. Both Curtis Brown and Josh Victorian saw some good playing time in the nickel and the dime in addition, and Troy Polamalu managed to play every snap once again.

We will have the participation reports out later on in the week and see how these match up.
