Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey & TE Heath Miller Selected To 2013 AFC Pro Bowl Team

It was announced on Wednesday that Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and tight end Heath Miller have been selected to the 2013 AFC Pro Bowl team.

This is the third straight selection of Pouncey, who led the fan voting in the AFC at the center position, to the annual All-Star game. The Steelers 2010 first-round draft pick started 14-of-15 games this season, including one at left guard and will be the starting center for the AFC on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.

It was the second Pro Bowl selection for Miller, who unfortunately will not get to play in the game after suffering a serious knee injury last Sunday in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers veteran tight end had a team-high 71 receptions and a career-best 816 receiving yards after 15 games to go along with 8 touchdowns, which was also a career high for him.
