Below are the offensive player play counts and participation chart for the Pittsburgh Steelers week 9 win over the New York Giants.
Player Notes:
Hurray for the offensive line making it through another game without issues.
The wide receiver group did have issues which led to Jerricho Cotchery receiving a lot of playing time thanks to the injury to Antonio Brown. In my opinion the injury to Brown also resulted in more two tight end sets with David Paulson and more playing time for fullback Will Johnson as well. With Brown out for the game Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, it would not be surprising to a lot of 12,21, and 22 personnel groupings in the game. This would result in a decrease in 3 wide receiver sets. We shall see.
