The Associated Press reports that the Kansas City Chiefs will start quarterback Matt Cassel against the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night because quarterback Brady Quinn has not yet been cleared for contact following the concussion that he suffered in the game against the Oakland Raiders a few weeks ago.
Cassel had been the starter for the Chiefs before he lost the job during the bye week.
The Chiefs offense is currently ranked last in the league in red zone percentage, last in the league in interception rate, and 30th in the league in passing yards per play.
The Chiefs are also the only team in the league that hasn\’t held a lead in a game. Their only win came against the New Orleans Saints in overtime back in Week 3.
On the flip side, the Steelers defense currently ranks first in league in yards allowed in a game as well as passing yards allowed in a game.
