Below are the week 7 official gamebook offensive and defensive snap counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night.
The Steelers starting five linemen made the whole game and that is an accomplishment to itself.
Cornerback Curtis Brown saw his first defensive snaps of his career Sunday night as the Steelers broke out the dime defense. This resulted in Larry Foote coming off for 8 plays as a result and Lawrence Timmons coming off for 1. Will Allen started the game at strong safety, but left due to an ankle injury. Ryan Mundy replaced him for the 16 snaps.
We will see what are charting says, but I could have sworn both Al Woods and Steve McLendon played more than 1 snap each. Maybe not, but these initial reports have been known to be wrong before.
We will have a further breakdown in our weekly participation charts.
