The Pittsburgh Steelers were back on the practice field on Wednesday in preparation for their Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals and the first injury report of the week is now out.
Not practicing on Wednesday were safety Troy Polamalu (calf), center Maurkice Pouncey (knee), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring), linebacker Lawrence Timmons (foot), running back Rashard Mendenhall (achilles), and running back Isaac Redman (ankle).
Pouncey ran in the pool on Wednesday and Timmons was a surprise add to the report. Polamalu, Carter and Gilbert have already ruled out for the game. Head coach Mike Tomlin mentioned on Tuesday that linebacker Brandon Johnson (hamstring) and linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (shoulder) would be questionable for the week. Johnson was limited on Wednesday while Sylvester practiced fully.
Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring), who sat out the Thursday night game against the Tennessee Titans with a minor hamstring strain, practiced on Wednesday and appears to be on course to play Sunday night.
