The Wednesday practice participation injury report for the Oakland Raiders is now in and it shows that tackle Khalif Barnes (groin), cornerback Shawntae Spencer (foot), cornerback Coye Francies (concussion) and linebacker Rolando McClain (ankle/concussion) did not practice. Spencer is expected to miss the game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while McClain has still not been cleared to practice after suffering a concussion during the game Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Kicker Sebastian Janikowski (groin), running back Taiwan Jones (ribs), guard Alex Parsons (shoulder), defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) and tight end David Ausberry (shoulder) were all listed as being limited on Wednesday, while wide receiver Juron Criner (ankle) practiced fully.
The Raiders signed cornerback Brandian Ross off of the Green Bay Packers practice squad Wednesday morning as the team is very thin in their secondary due to the loss of starters Ron Bartell and Spencer to injury. Safety Michael Huff reportedly took some reps at cornerback during Wednesday’s practice and could see playing time at the position in the game Sunday.
