The Pittsburgh Steelers very well might be without the services of linebacker James Harrison and safety Troy Polamalu Sunday when they face the New York Jets, but the Jets face the possibility of being without several key players themselves.
On Thursday, guard Dennis Landolt (knee) was ruled out for the game while tight end Dustin Keller (hamstring), safety LaRon Landry (heel), cornerback Darrelle Revis (concussion), linebacker Bryan Thomas (hamstring) and cornerback Isaiah Trufant (ankle) all missed practice. Should Revis sit again Friday, head coach Rex Ryan might rule him out before the team travels to Pittsburgh. Both Thomas and Landry are expected to practice on Friday, but the status of Keller is currently up in the air due to his hamstring.
Fullback John Conner (knee), wide receiver Stephen Hill (calf), wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (back), linebacker Joshua Mauga (rib), defensive tackle Sione Pouha (back) and safety Eric Smith (hip, knee) all practiced on a limited basis Thursday.
Linebacker Nick Bellore (shoulder), cornerback Antonio Cromartie (shoulder), defensive tackle Mike Devito (calf), guard Brandon Moore (hip) and wide receiver Chaz Schilens (ankle) all worked fully Thursday.
