Denver Broncos safety Rahim Moore has been fined $21,000 by the league for his hit Sunday night on Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
Rahim unnecessarily struck a defenseless Sanders in the head and neck area on an incomplete pass play with 5:17 left in the third quarter of the game. Moore was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play.
Sanders left the game briefly, but did return after being cleared by the Steelers medical staff.
