The Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday training camp practice included quite a few things to talk about, so we reached out once again to Ken Laird of Trib Live Radio to fill us in on the sights and sounds that he observed Sunday at Latrobe.
We start off by talking about the fight between Ike Taylor and Antonio Brown that had two rounds to it. Ken tells us what all started it, how it ended, what Mike Tomlin thought about it and if he thinks the two are over it now. Speaking of Taylor, he had two interceptions today according to Ken.
Sunday also featured another goal-line drill, so Ken walks us through it and lets us know who stood out and what the results were. The offensive line has been shuffled thanks to the injury to rookie Mike Adams and Ken and I discuss what that means short term and we both agree that if Marcus Gilbert indeed wants serious consideration for the starting left tackle spot for at least the start the season, Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts would be a great time for him to prove he should be considered for it. Ken and I also discuss a few more players on the offensive line in addition.
We close out the 20 minute interview by discussing a few other players and positions as the march towards 53 continues on.
