Season 3, Episode 2 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off the show by going over the new five-year contract extension given to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown last week and what this means or doesn\’t mean to restricted free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace moving forward. We discuss all of the options that Wallace has now moving forward, really none now that Kevin Colbert announced trading him was not an option, and how most are overlooking the threat of franchise tag as part of the hardball the Steelers are playing with him.
We move on to talk about the current health of the roster and this of course means we recap the PUP list and any other new injures that took place this past week. Will Damon Cromartie-Smith return to action this week and how long might Keenan Lewis be sidelined with his shoulder injury? We should get a few of those answers this week, we hope. I share my fear about what the knee injury to James Harrison might be, total unfounded speculation on my part, and we discuss the extra practice time both Cortez Allen and Curtis Brown will get with Lewis down a little while.
We then recap the first week of training camp as David shares a few things that caught his eyes as we talk linebackers, tight ends and offensive line mostly.
we close the show by reading a few of the great emails we received this past week from all over the globe.
