Season 2, Episode 112 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd is back in the co-host chair today as we get right to the few news and notes to come out of the day one of the second OTA session of the 2012 season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. We also pass along the news that the Steelers have come to terms with third round draft pick Sean Spence on Tuesday as well.
As far as OTA injured players go, David and I have a brief discussion on if the Steelers should be more forthcoming with injuries during these practices in shorts or if it is pretty much a non-factor. We hit on Steve McLendon, Emmanuel Sanders and Ziggy Hood a bit as they continue to prepare for training camp as well. David and I move forward to talk about the post I have up concerning the Steelers directional run balance and if we think Isaac Redman will benefit from the newly rebuilt line this season. Can he be the Steelers bell cow back? We discuss it.
With the Mike Florio post about Mike Tomlin taking center stage on Memorial Day, David and I break down what Tomlin said during his William & Mary Hall of Fame induction speech and if indeed this was Florio making a big deal out of nothing as he has been known to day several times in the past.
David and I wrap up a few other news and notes that have taken place around the league and will be back on Friday to look closer at what took place this week during the second OTA session.
