Season 2, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and first thank the listeners for the great feedback and emails that we have received over the course of the last few weeks. It has been overwhelming and we both are grateful to have such a wide listener-ship. We hope our passion and honest opinions show that we love doing these podcast for you.
The talk starts with a brief recap of the Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin pre draft press conference from Monday. Not much info was gleamed from it, but we share the nuggets we liked. This is the final episode prior to the draft that begins on Thursday, so we go through my final Steelers mock draft that I released Tuesday night and explain my reasoning for each pick to David, while he covers a few other options considered outside of my picks. We discuss a few scenarios in regard to positions and picks, and the different ways that perhaps the first three rounds could take place. David gives his thoughts on the players he has mocked in the first two rounds as an alternative. This whole episode is non stop draft talk and we hope you enjoy it.
Please remember that David will be covering the draft on ESPN 970 and he should be on the air when the Steelers pick at number 24, assuming they stay put. That broadcast should be able to be heard on Steelers Nation Radio as well and both stations can be heard via the iHeart Radio apps if you are away from home. I will be on Trib Live Radio Thursday and Friday to talk about the draft with at 2:30 p.m. ET to talk some NFL Draft with Michael Grau in addition.
