Season 2, Episode 91 of The Terrible Podcast is up and with David Todd and I are all over the place in this episode. We start off looking at some of the comments made by Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin at the NFL owners meeting about the injury concerns he has about Emmanuel Sanders and Willie Colon. We also discuss the pre draft visitors that the Steelers have had in thus far as well.
What about Max Starks? He wants to come back and Kevin Colbert has hinted that might be a possibility down the line as well. Is this a pre draft smoke screen? Should they really be thinking about bringing him back once healthy? We discuss several hypotheticals. Speaking of players recovering from injuries, we discuss the recent post made by running back Baron Batch, who appears now to be out of his rehab stage. Is Mewelde Moore going to be brought back at some point? We discuss that as well.
We move to discuss William Gay signing with the Arizona Cardinals and look ahead to what this means for Keenan Lewis, Cortez Allen and Curtis Brown. We discuss who we both think wins the outside left corner spot now. We move on to discuss the BUCK linebacker spot now that James Farrior has been released and how both Tomlin and Colbert have stated that Stevenson Sylvester will get a chance to battle Larry Foote for the job.
The compensatory picks have been announced and we discuss the Steelers picking up three additional 7th round picks and how those picks hold value. We mix in a question from a long time listener that goes along with this topic.
We close by talking about the possibility of the Steelers opening up their 2012 season on the road in Denver on Sunday Night Football. We mop up a few other draft tidbits before closing things out.
