Season 2, Episode 50 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I have yet another interview with Joe Reedy, beat writer covering the Bengals for the Cincinnati Enquirer in the second half of the show. We open this episode with a review of the Steelers preliminary injury report from Tuesday and a recap of the Mike Tomlin Tuesday press conference. Tomlin opened with comments about the contributions of some of the young guys and we share our thoughts on that as well. We then finish up our commentary on the Steelers 13-9 win over the Chiefs and take another look at the return game and the use of Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown. We discuss the decision making of Ben Roethlisberger on the field and his relationship with the coaching staff and the role of Hines Ward on Sunday night. As you will find out, we don\’t exactly see eye-to-eye on all of these topics.
We then step back and look at the AFC playoff picture. It takes a while but David and I agree on which six teams will represent the AFC in the playoffs with 5 weeks remaining in the season. See if you agree. We close Part 1 with the question of will the Steelers have any offensive coaches left come playoff time, with three currently rumored to be considering college head coaching positions.
