Below are the offensive personnel packages, play counts and participation chart for the Steelers week 4 loss against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The first thing of note this week is that the Steelers used two tight ends or more on 27 of the 57 non-penalty plays this past week. Also 8 plays featured 4 or more wide receivers on the field. The 11 and 12 personnel packages were used on 37 of the 57 plays.
Not too much sticks out as far as personnel went, but Jerricho Cotchery saw his first action of the season as he was on the field for 3 snaps on offense. Isaac Redman saw increased snaps as did Mewelde Moore. Rashard Mendenhall left the game with a hamstring injury and thus his snaps were down. Antonio Brown continues to see more snaps than Emmanuel Sanders.
