Episode #64 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I bring you up to date on the 8th Circuit Court ruling today and the progress that is being made on the lockout as we head into the weekend. We discuss the want by the league to include the right to first refusal of up to 3 unrestricted free agents and the likelihood that the offseason rosters will be raised from 80 players to 90 players. David and I then pass on the weekly Plaxico Burress and Tiki Barber updates and how we still do not see either landing in Pittsburgh. When end the first segment discussing how some teams have announced they will not be holding training camps at their normal locations because of the uncertainty of the lockout and how the Steelers are still on target to train in Latrobe per their usual.
In part 2 of the podcast I am joined by Matt Williamson of ESPN.com who has been scouting football players at different levels for six years. Before joining ESPN and Scouts Inc. in 2005, he was both an NFL and college scout for the Cleveland Browns. Matt gives us a look around the AFC North as I ask him about potential free agent needs and players they stand to lose and target when free agency begins. You can follow Matt on Twitter at @WilliamsonNFL and listen to his weekly Football Today Podcast as well. We thank Matt for joining us and hope to have him on again during the season.
