Steelers Six From Around The Web – Wednesday June 1st – Safeties Talk Ohio State Edition

Steelers free safety Ryan Clark had his usual Tuesday morning appearance on 93.7 The Fan and discussed the new “Steeler Rule” along with the other rule changes that were just passed last week. Ryan also talks about Jim Tressel and the Ohio State situation as well as the NBA Finals. In addition, Ryan has returned to Twitter and can be followed at @RealRClark25.

Steelers backup safety Will Allen also joined The Fan Tuesday morning to talk about his relationship with Tressel and how he feels about everything that is happening at his alma mater Ohio State.

Mikey and Big Bob interviewed Hines Ward yesterday morning prior to his thumb surgery. Hines talked about his Dancing with the Stars win, his time in Los Angeles and his friendship with dance partner Kym Johnson among several other things. It was also announced yesterday that Ward will be making an appearance during the CMT awards show in early June.

The NFL cancelled its annual rookie symposium last week because of the lockout, but now the NFLPA has announced their plans for a June 28-29 rookie symposium of its own, which it is calling “The Business of Football, Rookie Edition.”
