Former Steelers director of player personnel Art Rooney Jr. joined 93.7 The Fan on Monday to remember John Henry Johnson who passed away this past weekend.

Pro Football Focus has two good post on quarterback pressures allowed and quarterback pressure turned into sacks. Not earth shattering results as far as the Steelers are concerned, but worth a read.

Bodog came out with their odds on where Plaxico Burress will land following his release from prison and the Steelers are 10/1 odds. I think that should be a much higher number as I would be shocked if it happened.

The NFL filed a “motion to dismiss” the Brady et al v. National Football League et al case with the district court in Minnesota yesterday which is being seen as a procedural move before having to respond to the players\’ amended complaint which was due yesterday as well. The NFL will still need to file an answer, but can now wait until the court rules on its motion to dismiss.

Ed Bouchette wrote about how a fan came across a 1934 hard copy version of the book, “Pro Football: Its \’Ups\’ and \’Downs\'” that was signed by Art Rooney Sr.
