The Terrible Podcast is up and in this episode David Todd and I do our best to avoid the labor situation all together. Nothing new there, so nothing to talk about. There was, however, some news from Adam Schefter regarding free agency. Players in their fifth and sixth seasons will be unrestricted free agents going forward and we take a look at who that impacts on this current Steelers team.
With Plaxico Burress and Tiki Barber both being tied to the Steelers again in recent rumors, we discuss whether either player would actually be a good fit for the team if the Steelers were in fact interested and discuss how Mike Tomlin has handled these rumors.
We go on to discuss the LaMarr Woodley war of words with Joe Flacco, Derrick Mason and Terrell Suggs and if it is a big deal. We then move on to Hines Ward and his current chances of being worthy for the Hall of Fame and how long it might take him to get in once he retires.
Two very interesting questions came in from listeners. First, we are asked to rank these four safeties: Carnell Lake, Chris Hope, Lee Flowers and Ryan Clark and the second question being if either of us have any rituals that we follow before Steelers games. Both great questions that we spend some time discussing each. We encourage you to send us your game day rituals as well and we will read some of the craziest over the air in a future podcast.
Thanks for listening and don\’t forget to call or email with questions or comments.
