In the 1st sack of the day it looks like it is a tight end screen play gone wrong as Chris Kemoeatu throws Kyle Williams to the ground and starts down field. Maurkice Pouncey has Marcus Stroud under control and leaves as well. Flozell Adams keeps Chris Kelsay way wide. Heath Miller looks to get pushed back too far by Alex Carrington and tied up long enough to throw off everything. Miller finally releases and the pressure by Carrington forces Ben Roethlisberger to have to step up and right into the arms of Williams who is just getting out from underneath a tripped up Ramon Foster. Not knowing exactly what the play call and assignments were, this sack likely goes on Miller as he was the one who could not hit and release fast enough.

On the 2nd sack, Kyle Williams blows up the A gap between Chris Kemoeatu and Maurkice Pouncey. Alex Carrington is stunting back to the left of Kemoeatu as well. Ramon Foster has a little trouble with Arthur Moats but recovers on the outside. This play was all Williams though and Kemoeatu and Pouncey share in the blame here.

On the 3rd sack, Alex Carrington schools Ramon Foster on the outside. Torell Troup gets good push on Chris Kemoeatu and Marcus Stroud does the same on Maurkice Pouncey and is firmly in the passing lane. Jonathan Scott does a good job on the outside with Chris Kelsay on the play. The sack goes on the shoulders on Foster here.

On the 4th sack, Kyle Williams takes on both Maurkice Pouncey and Chris Kemoeatu and bulls both of them way back in the pocket. Ramon Foster struggles early with Marcus Stroud, but seems to recover. Jonathan Scott handles Reggie Torbor pretty well and gives enough time and Flozell Adams handles Chris Kelsay on the far side. Even though Stroud gets the sack on the play, it was Williams work that caused the disruption so Kemoeatu and Pouncey was again share this one.

On the 5th sack, Kyle Williams pushes Chris Kemoeatu into the lap of Ben Roethlisberger as Chris Kelsay blows around Flozell Adams and Jonathan Scott struggles a bit with Arthur Moats. This sack blame gets shared between Kemoeatu and Adams here with a little more of the balance of blame on Kemoeatu. Tough day for Kemo for sure as you can tell.
