The Steelers continued practice preparations on Thursday for their week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns Sunday at Heinz Field. For the second straight day, G Trai Essex remains the only player listed on the teams injury report as he was limited for a second straight day as he recovers from his high ankle sprain. It is looking like Doug Legursky will once again start at right guard and Essex will in all likelihood be inactive once again.
For the Browns on Thursday, QB Jake Delhomme (ankle) and QB Seneca Wallace (ankle) both sat out practice for a second straight day. Also not practicing for a second straight day were, RB Peyton Hillis (thigh), TE Robert Royal (shoulder), C Alex Mack (shoulder), OL Floyd Womack (knee), OL John St. Clair (ankle), DL Robaire Smith (back) and DL Shaun Rogers (elbow). DB Nick Sorensen (calf) and DL Kenyon Coleman (knee) both were limited after sitting out on Wednesday while both WR Joshua Cribbs (ankle) and DB Abram Elam (knee) were both limited for the second consecutive day. T Joe Thomas (shin) practiced fully after being limited Wednesday.
