According to reports, free agent guard Chester Pitts will be working out again today or tomorrow for the Steelers. The Steelers had a scout present last Tuesday for the private workout Pitts held in Arizona. Since then, the Steelers signed free agent guard Adrian Jones when they placed tackle Willie Colon on the injured reserve list. Pitts is attempting to come back from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and last Tuesday was the first time that Pitts had been able to undergo a full workout since the operation. Pitts has spent his entire career with the Houston Texans and played in just two games in 2009 before undergoing the season ending surgery. The Steelers are not likely to sign Pitts today and may just want to see him up close and personal should the need arise in the future.
