Steelers Six From Around The Web – Tuesday May 18th

The Las Vegas Review-Journal has a story on Frank Summers who is recovered from back surgery and looking to make up lost time from his rookie season. Running backs coach Kirby Wilson said the Steelers will use Summers at running back as well as on special teams this Summer.

The Steelers resume spring OTA practices today, but likely will still be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger again as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has yet to clear Roethlisberger to rejoin the team in their workouts at the team\’s facility.

Roethlisberger is indeed back in Pittsburgh though and made a public appearance for the first time since being investigated for an allegation of sex assault earlier this year. Roethlisberger played the Hoge Starks Ward Celebrity Golf Classic for Children at the Southpointe course on Monday morning and seemed in good spirits according to WTAE.
