The Steelers will host the 2009 National Football League season opener in prime time this year, it\’ll be the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Tennessee Titans. The national televised game will be held at Heinz Field on Thursday, Sept. 10. The Steelers Titans matchup will finally deliver on last season\’s most-anticipated playoff matchup that never came to be. The 2008 top-seeded Titans were beaten by the Baltimore Ravens before they could play No. 2 seed Steelers in the AFC Championship game. The Steelers went on to win Super Bowl 43 and claim their 6th Championship.
