Steelers starting running back Willie Parker has stated that surgery probably will not be necessary to repair the torn labrum he suffered against the Washington Redskins earlier in the year. Parker also said that he is no longer having to wear the shoulder harness and says it restricted his ability to run. “It lasted probably two games,” Parker said, pointing to the shoulder harness that was sitting on a shelf in his locker. “It\’s restrictive, being a running back. I can\’t move around. I had to get rid of it.”
