The Steelers started out the short week for week 10 versus the Indianapolis Colts with a full list of injured players and veteran players either sitting out or limited Wednesday. S Tyrone Carter (ankle), RB Najeh Davenport (hamstring), DT Casey Hampton (toe), CB Bryant McFadden (forearm), TE Heath Miller (ankle), RB Willie Parker (shoulder), QB Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder), T Marvel Smith (back), CB Deshea Townsend (not injury related), WR Hines Ward (not injury related) and LB LaMarr Woodley (calf) all sat out practice on Wednesday. S Troy Polamalu (hand) and RB Gary Russell (groin) had limited participation during Wednesday.
