The Pittsburgh Steelers continued preparations on Thursday for this week\’s game versus the Indianapolis Colts. RB Najeh Davenport (hamstring), CB Bryant McFadden (forearm), TE Heath Miller (ankle), RB Willie Parker (shoulder), QB Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder), T Marvel Smith (back), WR Hines Ward (shoulder) and LB LaMarr Woodley (calf) all sat out for a second straight day of practice. Miller is doubtful to play this week as is Smith. Parker is bothered by a shoulder injury this week, but still hopes to be ready come Sunday. Ward will likely also test his shoulder on Friday and should be ready by Sunday. Roethlisberger continues to be hampered by the right shoulder injury and is looking more likely to sit out this week. S Tyrone Carter (ankle), DT Casey Hampton (toe), S Troy Polamalu (hand), RB Gary Russell (groin) and CB Deshea Townsend (not injury related) all practiced fully on Thursday and look to be ready for this weekend.
