RAVENS RE-SIGN FB
The Baltimore Ravens were one of the best teams in the NFL in 2024. Their powerful rushing attack was a huge part of that. While Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson were the key pieces of that puzzle, fullback Patrick Ricard helped clear the way for them. Ricard has been one of the best fullbacks in the NFL for years, even being named a First-team All-Pro last year.
Ricard was scheduled to be a free agent, but according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini on Twitter, the Ravens are expected to re-sign him. That should help give Baltimore some consistency in 2025. That might be bad news for the Steelers. It looks like the Ravens will give them a strong fight for the AFC North crown again.

FREIERMUTH GOODBYE TO HARRIS
Pat Freiermuth and Najee Harris helped improve the Steelers’ offense when they were drafted in 2022. They helped usher in the team’s youth movement on that side of the ball. Freiermuth received an extension last year, but Harris did not. Now, he’s reportedly agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. It’s unfortunate because Harris and Freiermuth seemed close.
On his Instagram, Freiermuth posted a nice goodbye to Harris. It sounds like he’ll still be rooting for the running back. The two shared a sad moment to end last season, so it seems they knew this would be the outcome. Hopefully, Harris will succeed with the Chargers.

FIELDS ENJOYING DUBAI
When the offseason started, it seemed like Justin Fields would be the Steelers’ starting quarterback for 2025. Now, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. Fields reportedly agreed to terms on a deal with the New York Jets. He got a nice payday, and it looks like he can celebrate while on vacation.
Bleacher Report shared a video on their Instagram showing Fields enjoying himself in Dubai. It seems like Fields could be celebrating his new contract, although that’s not totally clear. He does seem to be having a blast, though. Fields certainly has reasons to be happy.
