Cam’s Kindness Week
Cam Heyward’s “Kindness Week” is back starting this week. As outlined by Steelers.com, Heyward and his Heyward House Foundation has several events planned over the next several days. This will be the second year Heyward has held this Kindness Week as he continues to give back to the Pittsburgh community, showcasing himself to be a role model on and off the field.
Per the team website’s Teresa Varley, Heyward visited UPMC’s Children’s Hospital earlier today. He revealed he spent time at Children’s growing up due to bad asthma and seizures. During today’s visit, he was joined by younger brother Connor Heyward and actor Joe Manganiello. You can read all the details of his visit at the link above and I’m sure the team site will provide updates on Heyward the rest of the week.
Pickens And Johnson PFF Rankings
In their first full game together this season, WRs George Pickens and Diontae Johnson have received high marks for their play against the Los Angeles Rams. Per PFF, Pickens had the sixth-highest receiving grade while Johnson came in at tenth. It made the Steelers’ passing game look as effective as it has all season and propelled the team to a fourth-quarter comeback, even though Pittsburgh scored all three of their touchdowns on the ground.
Baldy On Minkah
After an 11-tackle performance in the win over the Los Angeles Rams, NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger broke down Fitzpatrick’s tape. He praised his tackling and run defense, filling the alley and supporting the run well to cover for a Steelers’ front struggling to stop the Rams’ backs.

Seahawks Lose LB
Though the Steelers won’t travel to play the Seahawks until the end of the year, Week 17, Seattle isn’t expected to have LB Uchenna Nwosu. According to head coach Pete Carroll, Nwosu is out for the season due to a torn pectoral. It will require surgery.
Prior to getting hurt, Nwosu had started the last 23 games for the Seahawks. Last year, he racked up 66 tackles and 9.5 sacks. In six starts this year, he had 16 tackles and a pair of sacks. It’s a big blow to one of their top pass-rush sources.
Pittsburgh and Seattle will square off on December 31, a 4:05 PM/EST game.
