Perspective Of An Average Steelers Fan: 2023 Depot Team Final Mock Drafts

STEELERS DEPOT MOCK DRAFTS

Steelers Depot contributors posted various versions of their mock drafts since February. Here, I’ve consolidated the final versions submitted by several Steelers Depot contributors.

The Steelers have seven picks in 2023 but either a trade up or down could affect that number on draft day.

CONCLUSION

The eight mock drafts included 36 different players representing 28 schools. The drafts named 17 offensive and 19 defensive players who the Steelers may select. Five of eight mock drafts show an offensive tackle selected in the first round. The other three named cornerbacks. Six different tackles and five different Edge players named.

The consensus of the eight Depot contributor mock drafts shows:

First Round – Darnell Wright, OT Tennessee
Second Round (32) – Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Edge Kansas State
Second Round (49) – Tyrique Stevenson, CB Miami
Third Round – Tuli Tuipulotu, Edge USC
Fourth Round – Ricky Stromberg, C Arkansas
Seventh Round (234) – Bryce Ford-Wheaton, WR West Virginia
Seventh Round (241) – Tossup between Noah Gindorff, TE North Dakota State or, Chamarri Conner, S Virginia Tech

More balanced between offense and defense than many predict. I’ve linked the final mock draft for each contributor on the table in case you want to check out the reasoning for their selections.

Soon enough, we’ll find out who the Pittsburgh Steelers draft over the next three days. Who will have bragging rights among the Steelers Depot contributors?

YOUR MUSIC SELECTION

I always like to include a bit of music. Almost time for another draft. Identifying who the Steelers will select don’t come easy. Got to pay your dues if you want to play the blues. Here is It Don’t Come Easy by Ringo Starr.
