The Week 15 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills has been flexed from a 1 PM kickoff to the primetime, Sunday night spot, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Former Steelers’ QB Charlie Batch was the first to hint at the move.
As of today, the Bills and Steelers hold the final 5th and 6th Wildcard spots. Both teams won this week; Buffalo embarrassed the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving while Pittsburgh ended the Cleveland Browns’ season.
They are competing with the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, and Oakland Raiders for a Wildcard berth, though Buffalo is a clear frontrunner at 9-3. The Titans beat the Colts today while the Raiders were blown out on the road by Kansas City, falling 40-9.
Pittsburgh’s never lost to Buffalo under Mike Tomlin/Kevin Colbert, going 6-0. Their last loss came in 1999, losing 24-21.
