Back at it for another tape analysis from Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Rams. Putting Mason Rudolph under the microscope again. To be clear, I thought Rudolph had one of his better games of the year against LA. He showed improved pocket presence and drove the football downfield better than arguably any other game this year.
But there’s still work to be done. One issue I saw this weekend was with his reads. Reading pre-snap coverage better, getting the ball into JuJu Smith-Schuster’s hands, and going through his progressions more decisively, we break down two plays of his.
