Steelers Saturday Injury Report Week 4: McDonald Doubtful; Williams, Chickillo, Nix Ruled Out

The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released their final injury report of Week 4 ahead of their Monday night home game against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Saturday offering shows that three players are now officially ruled out for that contest.

After failing to practice again on Saturday the Steelers have now officially listed fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee), outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo (foot) and inside linebacker Vince Williams (hamstring) as out for the team’s Monday night game against the Bengals. This will mark the third consecutive game that Nix has missed and the second consecutive game missed for both Chickillo and Williams.

Steelers tight end Vance McDonald (shoulder) ends the week listed as doubtful for Monday night after failing to practice all week. McDonald hurt his shoulder in the second quarter of the team’s Week 3 road loss last Sunday

Outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott (hamstring) ends the week listed as questionable after practicing fully on Saturday. He was listed as limited on Thursday and Friday.

As expected, center Maurkice Pouncey (not injury related), guard Ramon Foster (not injury related), inside linebacker Mark Barron (not injury related), and cornerback Joe Haden (shoulder) all practiced fully on Saturday and were not given game status designations to close out the week.
