5 Weeks Until 2019 Training Camp: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday to all once again and I hope the weekend is off to a great start for everybody reading this post.

It’s Friday, so that means it’s back to the doctor again for me later today. It gets tiring going so much, but it is what it is. Tonight I look forward to watching the Pittsburgh Pirates playing the San Diego Padres and after that, I might run out to a casino at midnight to gamble for three hours.

Five weeks from today we;ll be discussing the Steelers first training camp practice of 2019 and 8 weeks from today the team will play their first preseason game of 2019 and that will take place at Heinz Field and against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Good times are getting closer.

As usual, I have five questions for yinz to answer throughout this Friday night and remainder of the weekend and I look forward to reading all the responses.

Be safe this weekend and thank you to all of yinz that visited the site this past week.

Peace and love, peace and love!

P.S. here is Le’Veon Bell’s recent 911 call about his stolen stuff:

1 – A few weeks ago, Mike Clay of ESPN.com posted his initial 2019 stat projections for the Steelers and he predicted tight end Vance McDonald to have 56 receptions for 658 yards and 5 touchdown. With that, I want your over/under guesses on each of those stats.

a) over/under 56 receptions
b) over/under 658 receiving yards
c) over/under 5 touchdowns

2 – Which one of the four Steelers running backs currently under contract that are listed below do you think will ultimately land on the team’s practice squad at the start of the regular season?

Trey Edmunds
Travon McMillian
Ralph Webb
Malik Williams

3 – Rank these five Steelers players below from most-likely to least-likely to sign a contract extension later this summer:

B.J. Finney
Mike Hilton
Sean Davis
Joe Haden
Javon Hargrave

4 – Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels recently said he has gotten faster this offseason. Will he record a run of 30 yards or longer during the 2019 regular season?

5 – The Steelers have averaged 19.1 and 19.3 yards per kick return the last two seasons. Will the 2019 average be over or under 19.5 yards?
