The Pittsburgh Steelers are closing out their week with another pre-draft visit and this time they’re hosting a wide receiver.
Visiting the Steelers on Friday is former Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk, who measured in at this year’s scouting combine at 5103, 201-pounds.
At the combine Kirk ran his 40-yard-dash in 4.47-seconds on his way to registering a pSPARQ score of 108.6. In his three seasons at Texas A&M Kirk registered 229 receptions for 2,796 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also returned 37 punts for 814 yards and 6 touchdowns in addition to 44 kickoffs for 936 yards and a touchdown. He was also a three-year starter and played most of the time in the slot.
Ahead of this year’s draft, Kirk is speculated by many analysts to be selected either in the second or third-round. He will not turn 22 years of age until November.
