Third Offseason Weekend Of 2017: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday to all of you once again and welcome to the last weekend prior to the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine taking place. Hopefully the next few weeks will move along quickly as the start of free agency will follow the the combine wrapping up.

The Pittsburgh Steelers received some great news on Friday when it was announced the team has been awarded a third-round compensatory selection for the 2017 NFL Draft. Most of us had the team receiving just a fifth-round selection so thank heavens for bad math on our part.

Not much is going on with me out here in Las Vegas. The puppy still isn’t fully potty trained and I am still attempting to get everything together that my accountant needs from me for my taxes to be filed. Little Finley Pearl did get her first grooming this past week and below is a picture of the final product.

As usual, I have five questions for you to answer on this February Friday night and I hope several of you will do just that in the comments below.

I hope all of you have a great weekend and I wish you much peace and love in your endeavours.

1 – Name one player who we have yet to break down on the site who you feel would be a great fit with the Steelers and who you would like for us to profile in the coming weeks.

2 – Now that it has been announced that the Steelers have received a third-round compensatory pick for this year, has it in any way changed your opinion as to how the team should approach the draft from a positional standpoint?

3 – Do you believe players can “make money” at the NFL scouting combine? Why or why not?

4 – True or false: The Steelers will select a tight end at some point during the draft.

5 – What one question would you ask Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert during his Wednesday talk in Indianapolis with the media?
