Dupree hit Moore in the head and neck ares during the second quarter of the Steelers game against the Dolphins after the quarterback had rolled out to his right and delivered a pass. Moore was knocked out of the game for just one play as a result of the hit.
While Dupree’s hit was illegal and resulted in an unnecessary roughness penalty, it did not appear to malicious as it was a bang-bang play.
Dupree reportedly said after the game he did not intend to hurt Moore.
