Season 7, Episode 41 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I start things off by talking about the few injuries the Pittsburgh Steelers during Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys and what they might mean as far immediate roster shuffling goes.
The Steelers 35-30 loss was very disappointing and thus David and I have quite a few things to discuss when it comes to recapping what took place at Heinz Field on Sunday. We start with what happened at the end of the game and work backwards from there for a change.
As you can imagine, we talk quite a bit about the play of the Steelers defense against the Cowboys and especially when it comes to how that unit performed in the second half.
We discuss a few snap counts along the way and wonder if defensive ends Cameron Heyward and Stephon Tuitt need more time off the field during games. We discuss the overall quality of the Steelers defensive personnel that they have right now.
Head coach Mike Tomlin decided to go for two following every touchdown that was scored against the Cowboys so we break down those decisions. We also talk about the comments quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made after the game as he was clearly attempting to send a message.
As usual, we wrap up our Friday podcast by given you our picks against the spread for all the Week 10 games and that includes our final score predictions for the Steelers game against the Cowboys.
