Season 7, Episode 46 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night win over the Indianapolis Colts.
As you can imagine, we have quite a bit to talk about in this show and we start it off by talking about how we view the Steelers last two wins as a whole.
We get into breaking down the win over the Colts and we bounce all over the place in that effort. We talk about several game situations, the offensive gameplan and injuries to start with.
Several individual performances of Steelers players are discussed along the way and that includes us covering the play of wide receiver Sammie Coates, safety Mike Mitchell, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and tight end Ladarius Green just to name a few.
We talk about the celebration penalty that wide receiver Antonio Brown received Thursday night and how that ultimately led to the Colts only score of the game. The Colts left several plays on the field that ultimately cost them some points so we make sure to hit on that topic.
As you would expect, David and I discuss the Steelers clock management at the end of the first half and why head coach Mike Tomlin likely chose to wait to call his first timeout.
We go over a few defensive problems the Steelers had Thursday night and at the end of the show we answer a few questions from Twitter followers.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
